The Opportunity

The Vice President of Operations is AMPED’s organizational backbone. This leader ensures that people, processes, and performance align to drive client success and profitability. They will oversee operations, finance workflows, HR alignment, project delivery (via Client Services), and cross-departmental collaboration. In short: they turn AMPED’s strategic vision into repeatable, scalable reality.

This role is ideal for a senior operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, brings proven experience in agency or professional services management, and is passionate about building both systems and people. They will inherit AMPED’s EOS-based structure, Monday.com operational backbone, and positive culture—and take them to the next level.

What You’ll Do

● Serve as Integrator alongside the CEO and CSO, aligning execution with strategic vision.

● Own operational efficiency—ensuring AMPED delivers retainer and project work profitably, on time, and with excellence.

● Lead financial workflows: forecasting, profitability reviews, and ensuring client accounts deliver margin goals.

● Oversee HR and talent development: onboarding, reviews, coaching, and reinforcing AMPED’s Buffalo Culture Code of Conduct.

● Oversee IT infrastructure and software systems; ensuring AMPED’s tech stack (project management, security, hosting, communication, and reporting tools) is optimized, secure, and aligned with business needs.

● Drive process improvement across the agency, identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable systems.

● Partner with department heads (Creative, Content, Digital, Web) to coordinate cross-functional delivery.

● Use data to inform decisions—turning KPIs, dashboards, and timesheet analytics into actionable insights.

● Create a culture of accountability, transparency, and problem-solving across teams.

What You Bring

● 10+ years in operations leadership within a marketing agency or similar fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

● Deep knowledge of project delivery, client services, and agency financial management.

● Proficiency with EOS, Monday.com, marketing, and Google Workspace tools.

● Strong ability to translate vision into process; systematizing complex workflows without losing flexibility.

● Experience in remote team leadership: fostering culture, collaboration, and productivity across time zones.

● Resilient, data-driven, and growth-minded, with a bias for execution.
