Job’s primary focus will be on site security at a VIP family residential complex. Shift work and irregular hours will be common. Position will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Position will require an in-depth interview prior to employment and detailed background check, to determine an applicant’s suitability for this critical security post, which includes but is not limited to, the person’s experience, temperament, background, ability to communicate, judgment, and aptitude to execute the duties inherent to the position competently.

· Ensuring the overall safety and security of family, staff, guests and property

· Access/ perimeter control

· Security Rounds

· Report Writing

· Monitoring and operating CCTV and alarm equipment

· Other duties assigned as necessary

· Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Associates degree or comparable experience may be viewed as acceptable.

· 10+ years of combined experience in security and/or law enforcement or applicable military duty.

· Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Must be able to obtain certification in CPR/ First Aid/ AED operation (preferred medical first responder training or better)

· Ability to prioritize and complete multiple competing tasks simultaneously

· Ability to obtain all necessary CCW licensing and firearms permits as applicable

· Ability to complete medical training and firearm qualifications as required.

· Must have a clean record - absent a criminal history and conviction of a crime(s).

· Possess visual acuity correctable to 20/20 – with the ability to see necessary colors, peripheral objects normally, have normal night vision, and ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.

· Possess a sense of smell and sound, with the ability to talk on and hear a two-way radio and telephone.

· Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.

· Ability to subdue person(s).

· Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, walk, run, bend, lift, climb, grasp and reach, repeatedly.

· Ability to move an unconscious person during an evacuation.

· Ability to fire a handgun and shotgun to internal operating procedure standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
