Position Overview

We are seeking highly trained and disciplined Armed Special Police Officers (SPOs) with strong military or law enforcement backgrounds for a long-term contract in a high-end corporate facility. Officers will be stationed primarily in the lobby area, serving as the first point of contact and maintaining a polished security presence for executives, employees, and approved visitors.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 2 years of armed security experience
Military or Law Enforcement background (required)
High school diploma or GED (required)
College degree is a plus
Active Washington, D.C. Armed SPO license (required)

Professional Appearance

Must be clean-cut, well-groomed, and highly presentable
Must maintain a polished, corporate-appropriate appearance

Report Writing Requirements

Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
Incident Reports
Barring Notices
Corporate-level incident documentation

Required Medical Training & Certifications

First Aid Certification
CPR Training
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Certification
AED Proficiency
Stop the Bleed Certification

Screening Requirements

A full background check will be conducted, including OSINT research, prior to hiring
Must pass all Axios vetting procedures

Additional Requirements

Physically fit and capable of building patrols when needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to professionally engage with executives, staff, and approved visitors
High level of discretion, composure, and customer service

Key Responsibilities

Maintain an elite security presence in the corporate lobby
Monitor access points, manage visitor entry, and oversee lobby activity
Greet and engage professionally with executives and authorized guests
Respond quickly to incidents or emergencies
Provide medical assistance when required (CPR/TECC/AED/First Aid)
Conduct building patrols as needed
Enforce corporate policies and maintain order
Complete detailed DARs and incident reports
Maintain situational awareness, readiness, and professionalism at all times
Operate cohesively within a high-level security team
