Position Overview

Phoenix Protection Services is seeking an experienced and highly capable Fixed Site Security Director to lead day-to-day security operations at the Rogue Fitness Warehouse facility in Columbus, OH. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of 15+ security personnel and managing 3–5 direct reports. The ideal candidate brings a law enforcement or military background, strong supervisory experience, and a commitment to professional, site-specific security management.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce, review, and update site-specific post orders to ensure operational readiness and compliance
Build and manage employee schedules to maintain appropriate coverage across all posts and shifts
Serve as the primary point of contact for client liaison, maintaining a professional and responsive relationship with Rogue Fitness facility management
Oversee incident documentation and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate records are submitted per PPS standards
Lead and coordinate ongoing training for security personnel, reinforcing post procedures, use of force policy, emergency protocols, and professional standards
Supervise, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for 3–5 direct report supervisors
Identify and escalate operational security concerns, staffing gaps, or threat indicators to PPS management
Maintain a visible, professional presence on-site that reinforces a culture of accountability and excellence

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
Ability to qualify for armed or unarmed security licensure in the State of Ohio
Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting and client interaction
Proficiency in scheduling, post management, and operational documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Prior law enforcement or military background strongly preferred
Ohio Firearms Bearer Certification (or ability to obtain)
Experience managing large security teams in warehouse, distribution, or industrial environments
Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, and physical security technology
