Job Summary
The Off Duty Officer plays a critical role in maintaining safety and security in various environments. This position involves utilizing law enforcement experience and skills to provide a visible presence, deter criminal activity, and respond to incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, surveillance, and conflict management, ensuring a safe atmosphere for clients and the public.

Duties

Provide security services at designated locations during off-duty hours.
Monitor premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify potential security threats.
Conduct regular patrols of the area to deter criminal activity and ensure safety.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, applying first aid and CPR when necessary.
Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed to address security concerns.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve issues peacefully.
Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and reporting it accordingly.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and incidents for record-keeping purposes.

Skills

Proficient in law enforcement practices and procedures.
Licensed Peace Officer in the State of Georgia
Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems.
Ability to perform first aid and CPR effectively in emergency situations.
Experience in military or security roles is highly desirable.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. This position is essential for ensuring the safety of individuals and property while providing a professional presence that fosters confidence within the community.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
