Role Description The GSOC Security Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. The role involves monitoring security systems, CCTV feeds, access controls, and alarm panels in the Global Security Operations Center to detect and escalate potential threats. The GSOC Security Officer will analyze incident reports, gather intelligence from various sources, and coordinate communication with field officers, supervisors, and client representatives. Daily responsibilities include documenting events, maintaining accurate logs, following established response protocols, and supporting incident management and emergency notifications. The position also requires adherence to client and company security policies, participation in regular briefings and training, and collaboration with the broader security team to enhance safety and situational awareness.

Qualifications

Strong situational awareness and ability to monitor multiple security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm platforms.
Proficiency in incident reporting, documentation, and basic analysis of security-related information.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with field personnel, supervisors, and clients.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and follow established emergency and escalation procedures.
