IDR is seeking a Tester to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves testing within public sector software systems and modernizing eligibility platforms for government agencies. The position offers the chance to work on complex applications supporting state-level initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview for the Tester:

Execute both manual and automated testing across complex IES applications
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure quality delivery

Requirements for the Tester:

5+ years of QA / Software Testing experience
Strong hands-on experience with both manual testing and automation testing
Experience testing within IES (Integrated Eligibility Systems) environments (technically preferred but not required)
Experience working in Azure-based environments
Strong troubleshooting and defect identification skills
