Duties

Lead the US finance team as a manager and an individual contributor; coach, review, and elevate execution quality.
Own month-end close timelines and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and completeness across entities and products.
Serve as primary finance contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators; coordinate requests and evidence.
Support preparation of audit schedules, control walkthroughs, and periodic regulatory reporting.
Define accounting logic and mapping rules for new products and market events.
Ensure policies and financial practices stay aligned with US digital-asset and banking-adjacent standards (including OCC-relevant expectations where counterparties are national banks).
Manage US banking relationships (operational accounts, trust/segregated accounts where relevant, payment rails).
Support daily cash/fiat operations: account opening, wires/ACH, check/cash handling, authorizations, and settlement flows.
Monitor payment success rates, cut-offs, fees, and operational risk in fiat movement.
Responsible in building interface between big data/platform to accounting system to record trades, deposits, withdrawals, PL movements etc
Responsible in drafting SOP and policies to comply with regulatory requirements
Being the main contact point for finance in regards to query and drafting solutions for internal review and approval
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc including periodic and timely expense reporting
Support finance operations, including bank account opening and transfer, cheque, cash etc.

Requirements

Proven >5 years working experience for full-suite company finance including Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Understanding local corporate requirements; VAT, Corporate tax and audit
Good knowledge of international telegraphic transfer
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle Netsuite
High degree of accuracy and attention to details
Comprehensive knowledge of OCC’s requirements
BS Degree in Finance or Accounting with accounting professional qualifications
Good-to-have
In-depth working knowledge or prior experience working in a cryptocurrency exchange or brokerage house
Big 4 working experience
Experience dealing with regulators
Experience working with multiple currencies
Eventual title and seniority will depend on the experience of the candidate
