Summary

The Armed Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, visitors, and guests. This position is responsible for responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including active threats and alarm activations, while enforcing institutional policies such as the weapons-free campus. The officer conducts regular security patrols, monitors surveillance systems, and investigates incidents to uphold safety standards. Additionally, the role involves assisting with calls for medical aid, managing sensitive situations like employee terminations and prisoner security, and providing exceptional customer service by supporting screening processes, access control, and visitor assistance. This position demands vigilance, sound judgment, and the ability to manage diverse security-related tasks with professionalism and care.
