Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Watch Officer- Mid Level located in Quantico, Virginia.

This position is located on-site in Quantico, VA. There are no remote or hybrid opportunities available.

Must hold an active Secret clearance.

Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the operational status of MCEN services and systems
Receive and track network outages, incidents and significant events
Maintain situational awareness for the operations center/watch floor
Coordinate with network operations, cybersecurity, service desk, field teams and stakeholders
Escalate significant incidents to the technical teams and leadership
Track incidents through resolution and ensure proper documentation
Prepare shift turnover reports, daily operational summaries and incident reports
Participate in incident bridges or conference calls during major outages
Monitor trouble tickets

Job Requirements:

Active Secret clearance.
7 years’ experience working in similar environments
Experience in a NOC, SOC, help desk, command center, or DoD watch environment
Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Education and Certification Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
Security + Certification

The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 annually. The anticipated salary range for this position is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations
